OUR FACULTY
Director

I have been with Shepherd of the Valley Preschool since 2012 as an assisting and lead teacher and have been the Director since 2022. I have taught in all of the classrooms in the 3s, 4s, and Pre-K. We have so much fun and the children brighten every day. You never know what they are going to say or do...no two days are ever the same!

I love that we are a traditional Preschool and get the opportunity to provide the children that enter our doors with an excitement for going to school. We are blessed to share our love for learning with them and honored to join our preschool families in the beginning of their child's educational journey.

I am blessed to have cared for and educated little ones for over 23 years and have been working at Shepherd of the Valley Preschool since 2012. I love the close family atmosphere here... between the staff, the children, and the wonderful families.

We have so much fun in the 3s classroom learning while we play! I am thankful to be a part of the smiles, joy, and laughter of the children every day and grateful to be able to share my love of learning with the kids.

Two of my children attended preschool at SOV and had an amazing start to their educational journeys. I am excited that I get to continue to provide the same opportunity for the children that come to our preschool!

Mrs. Rose
Lead and Assisting Teacher
Hi, I’m Nicole Rose and this will be my first year teaching at SOV Preschool. My son attended the 3s class last year and will be in the 4s class this year. I loved the atmosphere and experience so much as a parent that I felt the need to be apart of this wonderful community at SOV.
I have been with my husband for 22 years… we are true high school sweethearts. We have 3 children: 13yr old girl, 10yr old girl and 4yr old boy. We are an active family and are die hard San Diego Padres fans!
I am excited to share my love for children and learning in this new role in the 3s classroom. My motto has and will always be “regulation before expectation.” I believe in the power of play based learning and making it fun for everyone!

I was born and raised in Boise and received my education at BSU from 2001-2005. I have been teaching since 2006 and have been teaching here at Shepherd of the Valley Preschool since 2021! I have loved my time here because of the wonderful students, families, co-workers, and community! I especially appreciate the flexibility to be able to be with my own family more often. I have five children - two of them went to Shepherd of the Valley Preschool.

Some things I love to do with my family are travel, bake, sing, go to parks, watch movies, throw parties, play games and attend church.

I enjoy being a part of this ministry and the positive interaction I get with the amazing children we teach!
